StudyMania.org is an educational web application designed to equip secondary school students in Uganda with high-quality learning resources for O-Level and A-Level success.

About the Founder

StudyMania was founded by Muganga Martin, a Ugandan student and software developer with a passion for education, innovation, and the use of technology to improve learning outcomes and standards of living.

Having experienced the Ugandan education system firsthand, the founder saw the gap in access to quality materials between well-resourced schools and underprivileged institutions. StudyMania was created to bridge that gap and give all students equal access to academic resources.

The platform aligns with the Competency-Based Curriculum, which emphasizes learner-centered education, research, critical thinking, and practical understanding.

Our Vision

StudyMania aims to become Uganda’s largest online educational e-library and a trusted hub of knowledge for secondary school students nationwide.

  • Launch a virtual school with qualified teachers and interactive simulations.
  • Build an AI-powered learning assistant for personalized feedback and guidance aligned with the new curriculum.

How StudyMania Works

StudyMania uses a point-based system to encourage collaboration and active participation.

  • New users receive 100 points upon signing up.
  • 50 points are deducted for each document download.
  • Users earn 300 points for uploading original or authorized study materials.

This model rewards contributors while keeping access fair and sustainable for all learners.

Sustainability and Advertising

StudyMania.org is free for students. To support hosting, maintenance, and continuous development, the platform displays advertisements. This revenue helps keep the service accessible while we continue improving the learning experience.

Trust and Responsibility

  • Most materials are uploaded by teachers, students, and contributors from across Uganda.
  • We aim for quality, but students should verify content with their classroom teachers.
  • Reported inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content is reviewed and removed promptly.
  • StudyMania is not affiliated with any examination boards or official examining bodies.
  • We respect copyright laws and remove infringing materials upon valid request by the rightful owner.
